Orders that are received are viewable from the Dashboard and clicking on the Orders link in the menu:
If you’ve received a new order and have not yet viewed it, you will see a flashing blue dot next to the Orders label in the menu. You’ll also see a blue badge to the right indicating how many orders you have yet to review. This works similarly to a typical email inbox system.
On the orders page, you’ll see a list of your orders. The newest orders are at the top.
Similarly, any orders that has not yet been reviewed will display a flashing blue dot right next to the date the order was placed.
On this page, you will also see the customer’s email address and the total for the order itself.
Clicking on the order will display a modal with the order details:
Orders that are placed with Stripe or PayPal will display the associated transaction ID reference.
Each order that’s placed will copy over the service title, tag line, description, and price at the time of the order. This means that if you change the service, tag line, description, or price later on, the record within the system will remain the same. This is important to know because your service offerings may change over time, but the original order record will show the service that your customer had agreed to purchase at the time of the order itself.
Order management and fulfillment should be handled within the payment processor system itself. Workorder does not send invoices or receipts to your customers as these are handled by Stripe and PayPal respectively.
