To add a new service to your order and checkout page, first go to the Checkout Page settings in the dashboard:
Click on Add service:
A modal will appear where you can add your service and the price you’re selling this service for:
You will likely want to modify the service listing more extensively. Click on the edit button beside the service you want to edit:
The following modal will appear:
Here, you can modify:
- The name of the service
- The price
- Any associated tagline (eg. “Best web design in the city!”)
- The description using a WYSIWYG editor
- Upload or select a predesigned thumbnail
Sometimes you’ll want to offer “extras”, such as for:
- Rush service or delivery
- Extended warranty
In these instances, Workorder lets you add a checkbox beside the service listing to allow the customer to easily add this to the order.
Note: Add on prices are added for every unit quantity of the parent product. This means that if the add on is priced at $10 and the customer adds a quantity of 5, then the add on price calculated will be $50 ($10 x 5). $50 will be added onto the final tally.
If you need to remove a service, click on the red Delete tab and confirm that you want to delete the service:
Once deleted, a service cannot be undeleted. You will need to add it back in manually, so please be careful if you’ve extensively configured your service.
